I watched them die"

Comments about a Truthful Tuesday post I read earlier today…

I read a Truthful Tuesday post earlier today that brought out some strong feelings in me. Since I don’t often talk in detail about my private life, I thought of askboxing the writer to share my feelings but I find that’s often unappreciated. Particularly if you disagree with the person’s point of view. I considered a vague public post without specifically calling out the poster or the post but that seems kind of passive-aggressive. Lastly, I considered publicly answering in detail but that would entail me sharing more personal information about my family than I care to. As I’ve mentioned before, I’m all for that¬†adrenaline rush that comes from a cathartic deeply personal post but now that information is out there forever. There’s no putting that toothpaste back in the tube. You’re Google fodder forever and ever and ever.

So, um. Yeah. I read a post this morning. I’ll leave it at that.¬†
